This course covers three areas of DEI content as outlined by ASHA including: communication differences, communication disorders within communication differences, inclusive practices, understanding the potential impact of cultural differences on service delivery.
Martha Horrocks, MEd CCC-SLP, is a Maine-based speech-language pathologist and former elementary school teacher. Martha's approach is affirming and child-led, focused on empowering each child to communicate authentically.
